Digital terrestrial switch-off has occurred in your region.
You have retuned your decoder or your TV with DTT, but you still can’t receive Rai channels (Raiuno, Raidue, Raitre).
How come you see the other stations and instead the public ones have disappeared?
The problem depends on the functioning of some models of decoders and TVs (for example TeleSystem, Humax, ADB I-Can, LG TV with integrated decoder ) which do not automatically tune on the European VHF band , but do the research on the old VHF frequencies Italian.
Here’s how to solve the annoying problem with some simple operations on your decoder or on your TV with built-in digital terrestrial tuner:
- Select the option Reset to Factory Settings from the menu of your decoder (from the Menu under Installation select Factory Reset or Factory Settings). This will reset the memories of your decoder, deleting all previously tuned channels.
- Enter the Menu , select Settings, then Preferences and then Country , choosing “Germany” (or in some cases Sweden ) to set the search for the decoder on European VHF frequencies .
- Still in the menu select the item Preferences, and then choose the automatic numbering of the LCN channels . In this way the decoder will automatically sort the Rai channels at the top of the list . Read here how to order the numbering of the channels on your decoder .
- Make a new re-tuning of the channels . The Raiuno, Raidue and Raitre channels will reappear in the channel list .
